About me
Ù‹Welcome to my little place on the web!
I really hope that you will enjoy your stay here. Please feel at home navigating through the content within this place, you might find something that interests you. And just in case you didn't, then hopefully you will have some fun.
In my daily life, I work as the VP Engineering at Meedan (beta.meedan.net), a social media website that aims to establish dialogue between Arabic and English speakers, and as a consultant, trainer and researcher in the areas of ICT4D, Information Security, Wireless Networking, Voice over IP, among others. I worked on many projects for several international organisations, including the European Commission, the International Development Research Centre and the Association for Progressive Communications.
My main research interests include: FOSS, Social Aspects of FOSS, Creative Commons, Open Access, Information Security, Software Quality, Systems Thinking, System Dynamics, Soft Systems Methodology and Human Computer Interaction.
If you think that we have a mutual interest about something, then I would love to hear from you, we might be able to do something together. Otherwise, if you have a nice joke or something funny, then lets share it, and remmember, sharing is caring.
